Cowlitz River Lodge - Packwood

The room was reallynice and neat. The location was perfect for visiting the national park. I also appreciated the cozy lobby and enjoyed our encounters with elk on the grounds.

The hotel with tastefully decorated rooms, in a beautiful area, very close to the coffee shop in packwood. Free wireless internet, cable television and coffee in the room and the comfortable bed. Hot and great breakfast options, including cereals, cookies, yogurt, eggs and hot waffles. Ideal location, within walking distance of everywhere.

Had a recently renovated room to myself with decent WiFi, a queen bed. I loved the cozy decor it had.

Staying here with my family, including babies, was good. The cozy room was perfect after a long day exploring Mount Rainier, and we loved seeing elk right outside our window! The location is ideal for all the nearby attractions.

My kids wished for a play area or some outdoor seating for families.

We booked it before and recommend it to everyone.

Cozy Rooms with Scenic Surroundings

I recently spent 4 nights in a Beautiful Room and found the accommodations cozy and well-maintained. The location was perfect for accessing Mount Rainier National Park, and I loved waking up to views of the surrounding nature. The staff was friendly and helpful. It would be great if the lobby offered some breakfast options to start the day.

The grilled meat at Blue Spruce Bar and Grill was a culinary delight! Enjoyed chatting with fellow guests and spotted some elk up close. Clean room and comfy beds.

The staff could use a bit of sunshine, as they seemed a touch preoccupied. Breakfast was a no-show, and the lobby decor could use a refresh.

The cozy lobby was my favorite part! It was perfect for unwinding after hiking. I really missed having breakfast available 😞

This hotel is great, and has free Wi-Fi, cozy rooms, and 24-hour reception. The staff even helped me with taxi tips on my first stay, nice. Highly recommend for a comfortable trip!

great access to local museums and elk-filled fields

I loved how the hotel was just a few steps from the White Pass Country Historical Museum and the beautiful views of elk in the back field made my stay nice, perfectly capturing the charm of Packwood as I strolled around town and explored the landmarks.

This was just an ideal choice for a quick break in Packwood with good value. I enjoyed sitting outside at the picnic table watching the elk come out to graze. Be sure to enjoy the hot breakfast. It saves time before heading out for a day of adventure.

Had a lovely stay in a cozy room with a comfy bed and a microwave for late-night snacks. Enjoyed lounging by the fire pit and taking in the great views. Just a heads up, the shower pressure could be a bit strong for some, but it didn’t ruin our time at all! 😊

Convenient location for exploring nearby attractions.

The owner was grumpy and unwelcoming. To add to our disappointment, there was no breakfast provided even though the only nearby place didn't open until 9 am. This forced us to settle for frozen sandwiches from a convenience store, completely unsatisfactory for a hotel stay.

The room was super cozy, and the surrounding views were amazing, especially during sunset. Great location for exploring nearby mountains.

It was a wonderful stay. the location of the venue was particularly good, very close to the coffee shop in Packwood. - It's close to neighboring restaurants and supermarkets, Washington State, and the center.
